Arbor Bank's roots stem back to 1865 when we were first established in Nebraska City. We remain the oldest state bank in Nebraska. We continue to strongly invest in the growth of Southeast Nebraska and Southwest Iowa with financial and community support.
May 1865
Nebraska City institution is established. Original name: Otoe County National Bank of Nebraska City.
December 1881
Oakland institution is established. Original name: Citizens State Bank.
January 1891
Sidney institution is established. Original name: Fremont County Savings Bank.
November 2002
Fremont County Savings Bank opens branch in Omaha. Bank name changes to First Community Bank.
June 2007
Citizens State Bank of Oakland and Otoe County Bank of Nebraska City are merged to form Arbor Bank. |
June 2011
First Community Bank and Arbor Bank combine operations to become one bank, Arbor Bank.
September 2014
Arbor Bank consolidates Omaha branches into one state of the art location.
